Hi Rootschatters,
I wonder whether anyone has access to Llandingat parish records. I am looking for Job Jones. The 1841 census states that he was born in about 1807 in LLandingat. In 1826 he married Esther Rees in Myddfai. I have been unable to access LLandingat parish records on Familysearch and other websites. If his date of birth and the names of his parents can be confirmed, I would be most grateful.
Thank you for reading this message.

???
The 1841 census doesn't show place of birth?
Just whether born in county or not.
Is this him in 1841?

Hi KG,
Many thanks for your rapid response to my enquiry. I had obviously disengaged my brain at the time of writing the message. Job Jones was born in Carmarthenshire in about 1807 as revealed by the 1841 census. The LLandingat connection comes from his banns record. Sadly he passed away in 1849 before the 1851 census which would have probably shown his true origins.
I have been unable to find him on the obvious internet sites, and am hoping for help in climbing this particular wall.
Many thanks once again.
