Hello,
I was recently given this cabinet card of my third great grandmother Desanges Désilets (1831-1906). This picture was taken in Nicolet, Québec (Canada) by A. D. Nourry. I wasn't able to find much information on that photographer online except that he worked in Nicolet.
Desange's husband died in 1891 so I am thinking this photograph was taken somewhere between 1891 and 1906. Considering her age, I'm thinking more 1891-1895. Could this be a mourning portrait?
I am pretty sure this is a cabinet card. There is nothing on the back.
Thank you for any help,

Sorry, can't help with a date, but gave her a tidy, and the experts might spot her now and suggest an age for the photo. To me she looks younger - more like 50-ish than 60+, but I'm usually wrong.
Cheers, Peter.

It looks like a memorial photo to me.

Thank you Carol and Peter. The picture looks so much better without the fading.
Does anyone has an idea of the year this was taken?

It's not a cabinet card it's a mounted photo more likely to be early 1900s.
