hi,
  could anyone help with info about a margaret ann sproat whos death notice was in the newcastle journal on 20 of july 2002,it says humshaugh? not sure if thats a place? daughter of lowingham and jessie,lately director of education county borough of gateshead,would love to find any family of this relative or ideas how to go about tracing any family relatives,

Hi

Humshaugh is a township, chapelry and village in the parish of Simonburn,(Northumberland).
It is 5 miles north of Hexham on the banks of the river North Tyne and not far from the B6318 [Military Road].

Thank you bryan, that sense as some more of the family lived at fouestones and stocksfield, i think i will have to send for the death certificate and see if the informant is a relative,
