Hello,
would be grateful if someone could help me,I am trying to find out if John Thomas May married again, his first wife( they were married 24 Mar 1834 St Pancras) was Catherine Legg b abt 1818 London. I know they had a dau Catherine b 1838 bap 15 Feb 1840 St Pancras.

A John Thomas May widower married Sarah Quinton spinster on 1.8.1852 St Saviour Soutwark. Thomas's father was also Thomas occ Beadle

Hi again, John Thomas and Sarah Quinton had at least one son:-
Thomas Edward May 12th August 1855 St Michael, Crooked Lane, City of London Father John Thomas May occ Labourer Mother Sarah address 3, Fan Court.
Thomas E can be found in 1861 onwards, and on the 30th November 1879 Holy Trinity, Newington he married an Alice Emily Cole
The 1861 census:-
Sarah May 41 Widow b Suffolk
Joseph 11 b City
Emma 7 b City
Thomas E 5 b City

Can locate baptism for Emma but Joseph?

So he was the son of John Thomas & Catherine.

Thanks keyboard86 for this last piece of information.
I have now found John Thomas in the 1851 census as a patient at St Thomas Hospital, Southwark
states he is a widow age 36 so I think I have the right John Thomas.
