Post by: claire hill on Saturday 26 August 17 17:40 BST (UK)
Hi,

Does anyone have any information about this particular school between 1898-1911. I have done a search and there are snippets here and there.
Many Thanks everyone

Have you seen this document
https://www.churchofengland.org/media/3869192/2012-distinctive-and-inclusive-the-national-society-and-church-of-england-schools-1811-2011-web-final.pdf

It details the school's beginnings around 1811-12, but from my quick skimming through, the National School at Baldwins Gardens closed around 1831  and was moved to "The Sanctuary, Westminster".

This 1896 map shows Baldwin's Gardens School https://www.old-maps.co.uk/#/Map/531173/181804/13/100683 still there on the 1937 map.
There is a report on the Baldwin's Gardens National School, Leather-lane, in the  London City Press - Saturday 03 October 1868

In the London  Post Office  Directory, 1914, they are called St. Alban's National Schools, Baldwin's Gardens. In 1895 just called St. Alban's Schools.
