Hopefully someone may be able to help ....this man Stanley was born in 1921 and passed away in 2000......so am looking for his descendants...who may well still be living in the Brighton / Sussex area so am aware for the need of privacy.
His father Charles Beaconsfield Shurmer born 1878 died 1946, married Mable Lucy Southon in June 1918 Steyning ......following a marriage to my great-aunt Florrie Louise Pointer
Any information would be lovely to have and I will respect their privacy

Have you tried searching freebmd for his marriage then looking for births with mothers maiden name

I see he didn't leave a Will (grant only, no will) but it may be helpful to send for that to see to whom administration of the estate was granted?
