Looking for any information on the children of Thomas Morton of Tynan, County Armagh, born about 1800-1811. His father was Thomas Morton (farmer) and mother, Mary Kane (from Summerhill near Killylea).
Thomas Morton of Tynan married:
1. Sarah McGuiness
2. G Wilson.
There was a son William Morton.
I would love to find anything on my family.
Thanking you.

Hello I am searching for a william Morton for my family tree, I have no idea what date he was born or even where he lived but he had a son that was born in 1987 called James Morton. James Morton was my great great grandad and he married my great great grandmother in 1912 in Newcastle upon Tyne. I only knew of his father's name yesterday as the marriage certificate came and states his father was William Morton who's occupation was a farmer. I have been searching for william Morton's in and around Newcastle but have had no luck finding one with occupation farmer.. so I'm now thinking he came from someplace else.

As you don't give his religion which would cut down on results, these are on 1901 Census for James

Surname? The 1867 (civil) marriage certificate should list name and occupation of Edward's father.
