Post by: ostrauts on Tuesday 25 July 17 20:23 BST (UK)
My grandmother served in the ATS during WW2 and I wondered did the women have service records like the men did?

Yes, her record will be with the MOD.  You can apply for a copy, cost is £30.

I just received my Grandmother's ATS record yesterday. Just a word of warning. It can take some time to come through, I sent off the request mid May!
