Hello,

I am enquiring about my 4x great-grandfather, Henry Streater. He was born in East Worldham, in 1772, and died in Farringdon, in 1863. He married Lucy Norgate in Farringdon in 1796. His father was Samuel, and he married Ann Towers in 1769, in East Worldham. Does anyone have any information on Samuel?

Not sure if this is connected but it seems be the family record of a "streater" family.

When Samuel married in 1769, he was said to be 'of Alresford' - no mention as to New or Old. They married by licence.
