Trying to find the deaths of William and Agnes Watson, at 84 my mind is not too bright
-
Forgot to mention Welcome to Rootschat Cathie :)
The census transcripts were on FindMyPast, maybe asking a mod to move to the Lanarks board may help.
I cannot locate either in 1881 census, and am not subscribed to Scotlandlands People.

This is probably your William Watson:
Born 31/8/1808 Crawford to George Watson & Jean Otto.
So no Cambusnethan link this early.

Says Agnes died 1872
You can contact Lud the OP by private message if you wish, seems there's a family connection. Or add to the thread, seems they were online today.
Good luck :)

Nothing to be sorry about Ray, we all ask for help at some point, I know I have. Many Rootschatters love to help, genealogy our own or others is a hobbie most here are interested in or passionate about.
If not already would contact the other thread OP to see what info, and if seeking same family, seems you are. http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=318211.0 have posted a link to this thread, so Lud will be notified of your interest in this family.
