Hi
Were you hoping to find their fathers names etc?
Unfortunately - marriages prior to 1.7.1837 do not have that info
-
Rutland Burials has an Ann Green age 49 buried Stretton on 3 May 1851 and a John Green buried Stretton 17 Oct 1851 aged 52.
Can't see any baptism so far.

The 1851 for Stretton shows Ann's birthplace as Osgodley, Lincolnshire and her birthyear as 1799 and John b Empingham 1796
-
1851 has a daughter Frances born Dec qtr 1841. GRO maiden name search shows Ann as nee Pykett
-
In 1841 both John & Ann are shown as 40 - Ann not born in county. They have a 10yr old daughter Sarah. No other children listed but in 1851 they have a 22yr old son Thomas
-
Family Search has baptisms to John & Ann in Stretton as follows:

Thanks Carole,
I already have info. From 1841 and 1851.Have bought birth certs for Frances and also her twin, George born one hour later! George is not with family in 1851, but is working as a servant at a nearby house.
I did not know of existence of William and will try to find out more.
Am still looking for birth of Ann Pykett in Osgodley, Lincs.
Thanks again.
Hope you get this as am still working out where to post acknowledgements for help given.

Just to reassure you - I got your post. You really need to post on the Lincolnshire board about a baptism for Ann as members who use that board may have resources others don't.
I believe there is a website called Lincs to the Past ( or similar ) which I think has baptisms
Good luck

Thanks very much. I did not have names of witnesses, but have now discovered a William Roberts marrying Annie Green 25th. Feb. 1811 Ketton cum Tixover, Rutland, so they may be brother-in-law and sister of John Green.
I wouldn't have discovered this without your help. Thanks again.
