I'm hoping somebody can help me solve a mystery. I believe Susanne Penhaligon was born in 1950's. Her mother was Mavis Burrows before marriage and I think came from Belfast. I believe Mavis remarried in 1965 and became Gregory. However I can find no trace at all of Susanne. Any ideas?

Welcome to Rootschat but we aren't allowed to post details of living or possibly living people. It's explained in the Help pages under Posting Guidelines (click on HELP button at top of page)
If mother was from Belfast perhaps daughter was born in Northern Ireland? if so, births less than 100 years old are not available online (GRONI's index & Irish Genealogy's site)- Family Search's online civil registration index will only show N.I. births up to 1921.

I found her!
And we've met her.
My mum has a new sister.

That's great news Helen. You must all be over the moon at finding her and meeting her. Your mother particularly delighted at finding a new sister.
Congratulations on finding her. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yes indeed. It is all very exciting. It turns out that Suzanne knew she had sisters but had no idea how to find them. She is also very excited. She and her husband flew from Scotland to Cornwall to meet us. It is amazing how much we have in common. She had very little family, so is delighted to find one.
