As I said in my previous post to you...to which you didn't respond...better scans produce better results...this one again is only scanned at 72dpi and produces very little detail and a minimum resolution of 300dpi and in colour mode produces a more pleasing outcome. If that's all you have, then there isn't an issue and the restorers work with what they are given and have done a good job with what they had to work with, better scans produce better results.

Sorry about the quality of some of the images I have posted , the last two I don't have original photos, the digital images were sent to me by a relative.
