Title: Please date photograph (maybe a Thompson from Raphoe, Donegal)

I think this is my grand father (or maybe great grand father but not likely).  Name is James Thompson (or not very likely McKnight) from Raphoe area in Donegal, Ireland.  I am thinking late 1800s or early 1900s.  Any help in dating photograph would be appreciated.
