Title: Upwell
Post by: TrishaG on Friday 05 May 17 15:46 BST (UK)
Hi
can anyone find Upwell Parish records (1788-1800)online other than "pay per view" sites.Unfortunately their not on Lincs to the past or the Norfolk transcription archive.
What I need to find out is if a certain family called the Howards(Father William,mother Elizabeth) were the only family of that name in the village at that time with a son called Thomas.
Hope someone can help.

Trisha :) :) :)

FreeREG has some Records and yes it looks like only William/Elizabeth are Baptising Children St Peter, Upwell, Norfolk in that timeframe;
THOMAS 17 Oct 1796**
JOHN 2 Dec 1798
JAMES 21 May 1800, buried 9 Sept 1801, Son of William/Elozabeth
ANN 27 May 1803

They had an earlier THOMAS who was Buried 20 June 1793, Upwell, Norfolk
(F/S.Org, Son of Thomas/Elizabeth)
