Title: Sussex lookup - Thomas Care/Cary Hartfield

Hello

Would it be possible for confirmation of the birth certificate Thomas Care bap 19 April 1683 to Thomas and Joan, who were married 21 April 1681 in Hartfield. Joan was a Farman/Farmer?
Is there any other info relating to above so I can elimate the possibility that they were the parents of a Thomas Cary who married Martha Delves in 1707/8 in Herstmonceaux.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

There were no birth certificates in 1683, civil registration did not begin until 1837 so the baptism record is all there is.  Does the marriage mention a home parish for either couple?

Just have the printout from Findmypast , for both occasions. The residence given is Hartfield, Sussex. Looking for likely parents for time and place.

The entry on the Sussex Marriage Index shows Thomas as of Chiddingstone, Kent and Joan Farmar was of Hartfield though of course that only means at the time of the marriage.
