Title: Samuel MATE and Sarah TRINCH

Hi All,

I'm trying to find information on Samuel MATE and Sarah TRINCH. They married in Rye, Sussex on 4th Oct 1779. I have them having 5 children between 1780 and 1787.

Any help with information on Samuel and Sarah would be greatly appreciated.

Very few Trinch/Trench entries on the Sussex Marriage Index so not a common Sussex name.

There is a baptism in Peasmarsh for Samuel Mate son of George and Mary.  15th Jan 1754  This fits with the names of his children - three baptisms in Rye for Elizabeth, 1787 Mary 1782 and George 1783.  I can't see the other two that you mention

The other two children I have are Sarah 1780 & Martha 1786.
