Title: Myles Atkinson/Eliza Carberry
Post by: moraggio on Thursday 28 July 05 12:45 BST (UK)

I am trying to find information on Myles & Eliza.  They were married on 21st August 1871 in Stirling but that is all I know about them.  Their daughter Agnes (b 1st feb 1874) was my G Grandmother.

Thank you

Hi

Thanks for that.  Does that mean Myles was in England at the time of the census?

Hi Moraggio,

It means that Myles gave his birthplace as England.

The other entries - e.g. "Gargansell, Stirling, Scotland" refers to their place of birth also.

Margaret & Agnes being born in Stirlingshire, Eliza, Anne and William being born in Kircudbright.

Anne

Moraggio

You will find a digitised image of the marriage record at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk, which, being a Scottish record, shows the names of both parents of the couple.
