Hi, I was wondering if anyone had access to burial records and memorial inscriptions for Eastern Cemetery Hull. I am looking for information that may help sort out a puzzle for a friend I am helping.
Herbert Capell was buried there on 20th April 1936.
Thanks in advance for any help

Hi
Have you checked with the cemetery office that there is a headstone in place?
Freebmd shows him as Herbert F Capell aged 21 but there is no corresponding birth reg - is that the puzzle?

Hi, thanks for the reply,
No I haven't checked with them. Will look into that. He was born Herbert Henry Capell, but in the death announcement in paper he was Herbert Henry (Fred) Capell. There is a bit of doubt about who his father was and was hoping a headstone would help, or the burial record may have details of who organised the burial.
Thanks, Susan

Yes it is. We know who his parents are...well thought we did. His mother had an affair with someone else and we are now not sure if her husband was the father. The man she had an affair with was called Frederick and she had a few kids with him.
