Can someone help me please with the above mentioned pair.
Idris Davies married Llywela Thomas b.c.1902 at London Road Presbyterian Church, Neath on the 7th August 1940.Llywela's father was Samuel Thomas who kept a shop at Blaengwynfi Neath area.I have ascertained that Idris's father was David Davies.
Idris Davies was a teacher in Paryrhun Primary School Ammanford. He was an Evangelical preacher.
They lived in Ammanford.
Would like some advice on tracing them please.

Forwards or backwards from 1940? Freebmd shows Llywela Alice Thomas was also born 1902

Death
Llywela Alice Davies born 20.10.1902 died August 1988 Newport 28 461
Probate entry here - go to Page 39 - address was in Newport Gwent
https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk/#wills
Without knowing Idris full birthdate or confirmation of his actual birthyear - there are too many deaths to determine the right one - but none in Carmarthen
-
Birth for Llywela Alice Thomas, Neath 1902 4Q
-
Using the same RD (ie) Newport - there is a death for an Idris George Davies in 1984 - birthdate 7.5.1901
EDIT
2 probate entries for the above - Edris George also known as Idris George - so ignore as not same person
If you are looking for living descendants - that info cannot be given here as Rootschat has a "no living persons" policy

On the 1901 Census Llywela's family are living at Jersey Road, Abergwynfi, Neath.
Samuel Thomas born 1869 Llanboidy, Carmarthenshire
Elizabeth Thomas born 1875 Maesteg
Arianwen M born 1899 Abergwynfi
Sorry I can't give you information on the 1911 Census but perhaps you could look yourself now you know who they are and where they live.

I need help with backwards. I do believe that Idris Davies may have died in Cardiff; post 1960's.
Llywela's Thomas family is in hand, it is tracing her death I need help with, she may well have died in Cardiff too.
I can trace them to Ammanford and have an address for them.
There is no issue.
If my research is correct Idris's father David Davies lived at Annwylfan Ammanford. But I'm afraid I have no dates.
Thank you Ellenmai the 1901 census information is indeed welcomed.
