It looks like Tozer but possibly Roger(s).  It will be Dorothy Perry's married name, these were added to lots of the names on the 1939 register as it was used to start the NHS list.

Where was Dorothy Perry living in 1939?  There is a marriage in Brentford, Middlesex of a Dorothy Perry to a Paul Rogers, but more interesting a marriage of a Dorothy Perry to an Alexander Tozer in Plymouth in 1946 (ref Plymouth 5b 715 in Jan-March quarter)

There is also a graveyard in Canada with both a Dorothy A. Perry and 4 Tozers - Evelyn, Harold, Hazel and John Ronald.

Northumberland Co./Region/District, Ontario

St. John's Anglican, Port Hope Cemetery

The following Ontario Headstone Photo Project records have been approved for this cemetery.

She was in devon in 1939 although born in Edmonton.

If she was in Devon in 1939 then a Plymouth marriage would fit, but presumably you already know her married name - or perhaps you didn't as you didn't recognise it on the 1939 register.

No I didn't know her married name, can't find much on her at all.

Thank you for your help.

Dorothy Alice Perry was born 23/10/1910 - the marriage to Alexander Tozer in 1944 (not 1946) Plymouth would appear to be the right one.   Either he died or they divorced as a Dorothy A. Tozer married a Francis G. Lee in Jun.1961 Plymouth.

Dorothy Alice Lee - born 23/10/1910 - died Jun.qtr.1993 Plymouth.

Yes sorry, I meant the marriage was in 1944.
