Title: HARRISON / DAVIES 1910 marriage & 1911 census
Post by: Rowan Tree on Thursday 09 March 17 14:09 GMT (UK)
Hi,

Wondering if anyone can lay their eyes on a marriage and/or 1911 census for the following couple;

James HARRISON m. Amelia DAVIES
Q1 1910 - Prescot reg. district

I don't really have anything else I'm afraid.

I'm trying to work out the parents for Peter HARRISON b. 04/10/1918 and thought the above couple maybe a match. A baptism for Peter would be helpful if anyone has access to that.

Many thanks for reading

www.lancashirebmd.org.uk shows the marriage was at St Peters - Parr - St Helens

1911 lookups are not allowed

Why not just buy a copy of the 1918 birth cert to find his parents details?  As he wasn't born until 1918 - finding Peter & Amelia in 1911 will not establish they are the correct parents

There is also a 1905 marriage in Prescot between Thomas Harrison and Margaret Davies  also at St Peters so they are also possible parents

Birth info given above already known.  It's who are the parents that is the problem as there are 2 Harrison/Davies marriages - see opening post and reply 2

Only way to establish the right ones is by buying the 1918 birth cert
