Hello,
I'm hoping sks has a copy of "Index to the Prerogative Wills of Ireland" and willing to look up the following entries for me:
1796 Coulter, Joseph, Dowdallshill, co. Louth, gent.
1801 Coulter, Joseph, Carnbegg, co. Louth, gent.
I think/hope these entries should also have reference information (volume number?) that I was newbie enough not to copy when I had access to the index (alas, no longer).
I want to order the LDS film(s) for these entries and believe I need volume information from the index to decide which films I need. If I'm wrong about this, then perhaps someone who knows could explain how to go about it?
Thanks,
Steve
PS for anyone who is wondering what all this is about - all the Prerogative Wills of Ireland were destroyed in 1922, but there are surviving genealogical abstracts of most of the wills up to 1810, by Betham - the index is to his abstracts.

Hi Steve,
I hope you are still checking this though it is years later. I have tried to get in touch with you several times but the email address I have no longer works. I also am researching the Owens family from Stonehouse then Julianstown House, Nobber,Co. Meath.
I have only just begun to use this website and not too sure what I do next. Do I just add my email address?

Hi Janet,
Welcome to RootsChat :)
By replying to Steve's post RootsChat sent a notification to tell Steve of your new reply, but sadly this has bounced back to us. I have just found a more upto date email address for Steve so hopefully (fingers crossed) this notification should go.
Regards
Sarah :)
