I am trying to find the above's date of birth, place of birth, siblings, parents etc.

this is ALL that I know:
Birth 1839
Death 24.10.1912 Auckland
Husband: Edwin Holloway, married 25.10.1864 Auckland
Children:   Amy Louise Holloway, Florence Caroline Hough (born Holloway), Eveline Matilda Holloway, Edwin Nesbit Holloway,Violet Beatrice Bendall Finlayson (born Holloway)

Place   Waikaraka
Location   Area 1 Block I Lot No 36
Remarks   transcribed inscription reads "In loving memory of Jane Dunbar beloved wife of Edwin Holloway died 24 Oct 1912 aged 73 yrs (verse) Also Edwin Holloway beloved husband of the above died 21 Jan 1918 aged 80 yrs And Amy Louisa their beloved second dau died 7 Nov 1944 aged 77 yrs And dau Eveline Matilda Hollway died 27 June 1955 aged 83 yrs" (Bouskill)

I have a New Zealand death certificate which shows the parents names but this was in 1982.  From info on the net it looks as though parents were included from 1912 but not 100% sure.  So her death cert may well show her parents names.

You may like to consider having this topic moved to the New Zealand board.  Someone there may be able to access the details of Jane's death certificate for you.

the information you kindly sent on the death notice is greatly appreciated. Interesting that two daughters were buried with them much later. Perhaps they never married?

I shall order the death certificate now ;D ;D ;D

There is a death notice for Jane in the following newspaper:

AUCKLAND STAR, VOLUME XLIII, ISSUE 256, 25 OCTOBER 1912

HOLLOWAY - On October 24 at 211 Ponsonby Road, Jane Dunbar, beloved wife of Edwin Holloway, aged 73 years.  Interment private.
