Benjamin Griffin my 4 x g.grandfather marries Ann Patrick in 1807 in Harbourne, Staffordshire and appears to live out the remainder of his life in Birmingham Warwickshire, dying August 1851.
On the 1851 census it states he is 67, a gardener and was born in CLIFTON, SOMERSET. I can find no record of any baptism. Are there records for Clifton? What other places are near there that could be suitable places of baptism?
Any help would be gratefully received.

There is only one Benjamin Griffins (or Griffiths) in the Bristol FHS index of baptisms 1754-1812. That covers the whole diocese of Bristol which includes Clifton and most neighbouring parishes.
SS Philip and Jacob
12.07.1778 BENJAMIN son of THOMAS & MARY GRIFFIN, BREAD STREET, LABOURER
The parish of Philip and Jacob is a fair way from Clifton, the other side of central Bristol.
Moving into Somerset, FreeREG gives one more possibility
Dundry
Baptism date 11 Sep 1788
Person forename Benjamin Symes
Person sex M
Father forename Benjamin
Father surname GRIFFIN
Mother forename Hannah
A bit further from Clifton, but nearer the expected date.

Thanks for that info, I know it is not Benjamin Symes, as you can trace his life - death remaining in Dundry.

Here's another possibility I missed the first time:
Place Winford
Church name St Mary and St Peter
Register type Parish Register
Register entry number 2
Baptism date 27 Jan 1782
Person forename Benjamin
Person sex M
Father forename Benj?
Father surname GRIFFEN
Mother forename Hesther
Winford's a similar distance from Clifton as Dundry, and the date fits better.
