Hi All
Newspaper resource is great on FindMyPast but does anyone else find it frustrating that once you click on a newspaper page with the relevant match, it does not hi-light the text as in some other resources, so sometimes you have lots to read through before you get to the pertinent text! or am i missing a trick?

I must be missing it too on Fimdmypast :); BNA used to outline finds in blue bu tsince newspapers were added to the FindMyPast subs, I don't access BNA.

Well I must be doing something right as the text is always highlighted in my results.

thanks Josey glad its not just me!
that's interesting emeltom, thought it might be something to do with the browser i was using but I have used lots over the years and its never worked on FindMyPast!
Also the serach on Scottish directories works perfectly by hilighting the text.
Are there any computer experts out there that can help, I feel its something Im not doing right-

I always find the item to be highlighted.

Most times it is highlighted, but occasionally I've had to go chasing through several pages...Very annoying. But once it's found, downloaded, I save it with a tick mark, to ease when reading at a later time.

Its never highlighted for me either & quite often it doesn't even bring up the correct page >:(
