hi does anybody know the history of the goshen area of bury lancs   or the house known as the goshen on the maps  thanks

There was a Goshen Farm in the Bury area in Victorian times? An Unsworth family seem to have lived there from early 17th C. It seems to have been close to the river Roache.

I'd assumed there'd be a Goshen Chapel ... possibly, in light of the biblical connections, with a burial ground, but I can't find anything on that idea. Sorry.
