I would be grateful for any help in dating this photograph. I believe its of my Great Grandmother Lettice Lucy Rees who was born in 1865 and her mother Eliza who died in 1875. I can just make out on the back of the photograph that the photographer was Sidney Webb of Pembroke Dock. It also looks like it says Diamond Street. I'm interested in the words at the bottom of the back of the photograph. I can see on one line that it says LIVES and on the next I think it says ALWAYS BE. Is it possible that photographs like this were reprinted if a parent died. If anyone has examples of the text used on the back of Webb's photograph's I'd be interested to see them.

I think you will find it says - Sidney Webb, Photographer to the Admiralty {By Appointment} Diamond Street, Pembroke Dock. Negatives kept. Copies can always be obtained.
There was a post about Sidney Webb on Rootschat in 2009, here is the link -

I have removed the creases for you to make it a bit clearer.

Many thanks for the edit and feedback

1870's that's for sure but you've cut out the important parts which are the corners.

The edge looks like this

The rounded corners date it mid-late decade.

Thank you.
