Title: Photograph of our Grandmother Manley
Post by: Jacquelinemercer1 on Saturday 28 January 17 11:45 GMT (UK)
Hi would it be possible to see if anyone could do anything with this photograph.  It is of our Grandmother.  Many thanks in advance.  She was from London, and the family surname was MANLEY.

This really has the potential to be a really lovely photo but with this amount of damage it needs to be scanned at 300dpi for best results and a good print out...the photo is very small and pixelates badly on enlargement. This what we see.

I agree, also I think that you could upload it a bit larger and as a jpg rather than a png file which will keep the file size down.

Thank you to everyone who had a try for me.  It is such a shame it is so badly damaged.  I do not have the original, my cousin does.  Will have to see what can be done - my picture is a screenshot, so you have all done very well thank you.  Choosingg the colour blue was a good choice, my dad told me today that was my Nan's colour of choice, she wore it a lot!

Hi thank you, I have not been back in since, so apologies for not replying.  That is an extremely good effort thank you.  Not too distant a resemblence to our grandmother.  Thank you everyone again for your efforts on this one much appreciated.
