Do you have more data? I have relatives living in Salford, maybe they could help. I'd need more information- husband's name, did they move outside of Salford etc.

John (the father) may be the John Bonynge baptised (Catholic) in March 1814 at Mullingar, Westmeath, Ireland to parents John and Mary (nee Cormick).

The same couple had a daughter Elizabeth baptised, same place, in November 1812.

Not sure if I can help, I am descended from a BONYNGE, unfortunately all I know about her for definite is that she came over from Ireland in time to appear on the 1841 census, and is listed living in Writington (not sure that is spelled correctly), Wigan, Lancashire.  I have another BONYNGE descendent who is the witness to my 2nd Gt Grandmothers marriage (worked out as the name is actually the married surname, so Bonynge is the maiden name) this was in London 1875.  I have also had DNA testing that matches me to someone who is a BONYNGE descendent connected to William Francis Bonynge from Co Longford.  There is someone on Ancestry who has a very extensive tree of Bonynges researched, and I am positive the people you mention are on there.

Perhaps we are connected!
