Hi All
Am looking for a relative Mary Sallis (Nee Temple) born Sept 1851 Bellaby, Yorkshire, died 21 June 1880 Guisborough, Yorkshire. Married Little Sallis in 1876. Indications are she is buried in Brotton, I have not traced any family to that area, so no idea why she is there. However I live in the North of Scotland with a young family, , and have no plans for trips south at the moment, and was wondering if any one is visiting the graveyard could they keep an eye out for her please.
Many thanks in advance

Have you got her death certificate with an address where she died?
Or maybe looked on the next census for husband/children (if any) to see where they were living?
What leads you to believe she is buried Brotton?

Did they have a little girl Mary?
Little and Mary are in Skelton in 1881. Brotton and Skelton are in Guisborough district.

Hello
There is also an Elizabeth Sallis b1877, on 1881 census she is with uncle and aunt Charles and Elizabeth Kirk.
Charles Kirk married Elizabeth Temple 1877.

Thanks for replies, children during the marriage are Elizabeth & Mary A Sallis, as stated Elizabeth went to the Kirks in 1881 census, Mary was with her father with the Hayzel family in Guisborough for 1881 census, then all together in 1891 in Cambridgshire. Mary Sallis (nee Temple) also had an illegitimate child James in 1874, (my great Grandfather) 1881 census has him with his grandfather William Temple the Wainwright.
I do not know the Guisborough area at all, as for Birth/death certificates, promised my significant other I would order no more for the time being or join any more genealogy sites, we needed new windows instead, and she now holds the purse strings.
