Title: Victoria death RUSSELL Completed
Post by: AudBailey on Wednesday 11 January 17 13:36 GMT (UK)
Can anyone help with this query.

The Russell family emigrated to Australia on 27 March 1963. William Edward, wife and children Debra and One other.
On 28 May 1964 William Edward Russell aged 33/34 was accidently killed with his daughter Debra also spelt Deborah and on gravestone Debbie aged 3.
I have been trying to find out how this tragedy occurred but had no success
I have found they were buried in Burwood Cemetery and date of death as above.
I have tried Trove to see if there was a report of the accident and numerous other websites from resources page but can't find anything.
Any help much appreciated

Unless you can confirm the wife and other child are deceased, you need to remove their names from your post.

Thank you all who replied to my post. Unfortunately the inquest files cannot be viewed online and as i
live in Uk obviously cannot view them but the info you have given me will suffice.

It's a shame you can't get the inquests online; however Archival Access Victoria can get them on your behalf  :) If you're willing to pay and no one here can look it up for you. He got my great-grandmother's 1967 inquest.
