Hello, I forgot to update the site with my new email and lost that account.... Oh well. Anyway, I am looking to find some information on my wife's great uncle (Michael Verbisky)who served with the Royal Engineers - Inland Water Transport as a sapper. He is a Canadian recruited out of Edmonton Alberta Canada. You folks were able to help me track some other info on him before and was hoping you could help again. His regimental number was W.R. 317846 He served from about 1916 - 1919 when he returned home. Thanks in advance for your support. Shane

Hi, (welcome back ;) ) could you give us a name?
Frank.
-
Hi Frank, His name is there, I guess I hide it too well, sorry. Its Michael Verbisky. Thanks Shane

I have had a quick look, but can only find his papers on the Imperial War Service Gratuities, 1919-1921, I presume you already have these? By then he was a Corporal, Sapper is the equivalent of Private..
I am sorry it is too late for me to look any further, I need an early night. ::)
