Happy New Year, Everyone!
I was wondering if anyone might know the status of the digitization of the Eisfeld church records. I have come across a few old posts on various message boards which indicated that the records were in the process of being scanned in order to be made available.
Also, since my ancestor was born there, could someone give me the name of the church in Eisfeld around 1833, the year of his birth? His name was Adolph Otto, and married in Boston, 1855, in an Episcopalian Church. I have a feeling this was the church of his bride, who was most likely Irish.
Thank you and God Bless.

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreifaltigkeitskirche_(Eisfeld) will help with the church.
The Eisfeld website may well give you links - try contacting the museum or the town hall (Rathaus)

Thanks very much, Graham. This link led me to a mailing list where someone offered a lookup at Eisenach, where the Eisfeld records are! Rootschatters come through again.
Happy New Year!
Stephen

Please look here. That's not the church book, but his birth date and something else.
Best regards

Thanks, Betty,
That's actually my family tree! I uploaded that to rootsweb a while back.
