Alas I know its not Wladsylav S J as he died in Lincoln, UK in 1968, and my Wladyslaw A died in Nottingham in 1996.
Gregory was born in 1931 and I think in Poland not in England.
so hoping for someone who knows Policsh 1931 situation, records etc or possible evacuation? transport etc to teh UK before 1953 the Gregory marries Mary Christine Landers in Nottingham, UK.

Hi treemad
Possible naturalisation certificates for your guys, both of Nottingham:
Grzegorz Jozef Jan Drozdowski
http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C12041266
Wladyslaw Aleksander Drozdowski
http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C12025029
There's also this one, who may be related, also of Nottingham:
Jerzy Antoni Drozdowski
http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C12005386
The certificates should have place of birth, at least fathers' names, and may have children, siblings.

I have found Wladyslaw's wife Cecylia and son Grzegory on the SS Orbita on eth 2nd April 1948 sailing from Mombasa to Liverpool.
but no trace of Wladyslav.
this would also confirm that Wladyslav was born in Poland Abt 1908, was married (abt 1930) in Poland and Grzegory was born in Poland (1931)
there is no indication of the region of Poland they were form.
