Looking for any information on my 2x great grand father .. he was born in Hurley berkshire circa 1871 . He had 2 siblings Charles and Harriot . His parents names where Sarah and Willam Challis ( dont know dates ) . He maried Ellen Moore she was born circa 1868. Any information would be greatly appreciated .. not much is known as they immigrated here to canada in the earliy 1900s .

This could possibly be her , as I do have I for from my myheritage family site that they were in streatly at one point. My great grandfather would have been born in 83 . The nexed census iI found was in 1901 and Ellen and albert john were married andthere son ( my great grand father ) was already 18 . They were living in maidenhead .

Thank you a bunch! Is there any way of finding out about another member of the family ? It all ties in to my great grand father .. the last name fortnum .. William fortnum born 1858 married Catherine( margaret) fortnum born Lecouter in 1870 . She passed away in 1923 . Iv came across second hand knowledge threw the Hertfordshire Gen Website was aadmitted to hills end hospital Oct. 1901 suffering from mania to where she passed in that place April 23rd 1923 . She was at hillsend the entire time.. is there any way to get ahold pof her records from that hospital ? I know her children my great grand mother Christina rose weresent to Watford work house in 1903 then the children immigrated alone without there father william George fortnum in 1907 and 1912 .. any wayiI could get ahold of any more information on these folks .. as I have hit a road block . Thank you
