Title: William James (or James William) Tonkin b.1839 Islington, London
Post by: Tessa Spencer on Tuesday 06 December 16 08:38 GMT (UK)
I'm looking for this man in Ancestry. He is recorded on Family Search on 1871 census in St Sepulchre (Middx) with wife Mary and children William (b.1859), Mary A (b.1863) and Frank (b.1868). I have been all through the census pages for St Sepulchre (EDs 1,2 and 3) and Saffron Hill (EDs 5,6 and 7). The family is not there. Is there a missing section ie ED 4? Anyone got any ideas?

Hi Karenlee,
Sorry but I can't find them under that name either! Can you give me his occupation and their address from what you've found. That would just fill in the gaps on the page. Thanks
