My fathers name is jack Baldwin (1946) and has one elder sister mabs (possibly mabel) and had an older brother william (bill) who passed away in 2015 and has another brother nicknamed sos (because he likes sausages) but full name is edward sydney and their fathers name is charles (curly) and their mother was dorothy may williams.
I would love to know more about the baldwin side of the family as its such a common name and hard to trace.

There is a public tree on ancestry that has Dorothy May Williams born 2 April 1908 Gravesend Kend died 1979 Dartford Kent Her parents Frederick John Williams 1864 - 1943 and Mary Ann George 1873 - 1950.
The only information about William Baldwin is that he was born 1907 Gravesend Kent. (Added:-This is not correct) No death date for him.
There are a few William Baldwin births in Kent 1906 - 1908 on FreeBMD but nothing to single your William Baldwin out from the others. Same with the 1911 census.
You need the marriage certificate for William and Dorothy and I am having trouble finding iton FreeBMD

Okay so Dorothy May Williams and William C Baldwin were married in the Gravesend registration district Sept 1/4 1930 vol 2a page 2299.
Using the basic search on Findmypast 1939 register there is a William C Baldwin born 1905 living in Gravesend.
FreeBMD has a birth registration for a William Charles Baldwin Sept 1/4 1905 Gravesend registration district vol 2a page 680

Looking back at your first post you say that William, Jack and Edward's parents were Dorothy May Williams and Charles Baldwin. The marriage I found in Gravesend 1930 has to be them so it would seem that William Charles preferred to be known as Curly/Charles.

if you use FreeBMD, click on births, enter surname Baldwin, mother's maiden name Williams and the dates 1930 - 1950 you will see the birth records for your father's brothers and sister.
You can also search for their marriages and possibly some children.
When you get further back in your search you will be able to use the new GRO index (it is free) which now gives the mother's maiden name for birth records 1837 to 1915. here https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/home.asp

Using the GRO Index the birth registration for William Charles Baldwin 1905 gives his mother's maiden name as Willis.
back to FreeBMD and there is a marriage of an Alfred Baldwin to an Emily Willis in the Gravesend registration district June 1/4 1891.
