It appears as a surname in my tree but I can't find the origin or any other bearers.

Up to now people with the name Himander this was used as a middle name were going to/from.....
Sweden
Mexico
Puerto Rico
people going to and from USA, Australia and Spain.

Just looked through a number of Swedish databases from 1880-1960 and not one Himander came up.
