Can anyone help please - seeking information on which hotel/s Thomas Lyons ran in Glasgow.
He was born 1818 in Liverpool and died 1903 in Glasgow. Also any chance of a photo?

What date in 1903 did he die?
Have you checked for an obituary?

Sancti, from your census address details, there is this PO Directory entry for him I think here from 1890-91 www.archive.org/stream/postofficeannual189091gla#page/378/mode/2up
T Rose Lyons, (at Bannatyne, Kirkwood, France & Co) house 124 Pollok St.
Bannatyne, Kirkwood, France & Co looks to be a solicitors firm, still in existence today www.chambersandpartners.com/UK/firm/6073/bannatyne-kirkwood-france
Sancti, Pollok Street in Scotstoun/Kinning Park area for street name change? http://www.glasgowguide.co.uk/info-streetschanged3.html

dont know if this is of any use, your mr lyons died in pollokshields, well there was a pollok street in pollokshaws and its now greenview street. there is a pub called The Old Stag and the man who owned it was called Fred Lyons (suppose short for Alfred). I think fred died in the 60s. maybe the same family.
