Little boys wore sailor suits over a long period. so is there a design on the back?
The other looks early-mid 1890's.

Nothing was on the back of these. They were just dark green :(

Have been in touch with an old friend from Bradford on Avon re A Hill. He has not been able to trace anyone of that name as a photographer in the town. Bearing in mind that the name changed around 1894 from Bradford to Bradford on Avon, that puts the time frame in some context. He has not been able to trace the name forward from that date up to the 1911 Census.

I so missed this! So im sorry for not answering sooner. Thanks so much for your help. And yes that gives some sort of time frame to look between. :D
