Title: Translation on M/C
Post by: corinthian on Sunday 16 October 16 08:11 BST (UK)
Hi,

Can anyone help me decipher a word in a handwritten note beside the marriage of my ancestor William Hudson on 18/06/1772 at St Dunstan's & All Saints, Stepney. It says 'it appears from the register of his baptism ........ (then the word I cannot make out) in this book that he was baptised William Thomas' ?

Any thoughts?

Regards

Coreen

It says: " ... wafered to this book ... "

Ahh. Wafered as in sealed or fastened - that makes sense.
