Hi there. Looking to trace the ancestors of Florence Ohlson (don't know her maiden name). She was married to Albert Ohlson (engineer?, worked for NZ railways, at one time they lived in Mangakino). They ended up living in Milford, Auckland. She died in 1992(?) :)

Well if I have the right one Florence died in 1996 and was born on 4 March 1904.
Hopefully found a burial/cremation record for her. Died on 28th November 1996 aged 92 and cremated 3rd December 1996. Funeral directors were H. Morris Ltd, Po Box 36273, Northcote, Auckland 0748. This was in the Northcote area of Auckland.
You could consider ordering her death certificate to see who appears on it.

I am an Ohlson family member and my mother always referred to Frederick Burton as Burty, perhaps this is where the confusion of first name comes in, as in "Albert=Berty". He went by his middle name.

Yes nan (Florence) always called pop "Burty". His mates called him Burt .I never heard him called anything else. The Ohlsons moved from Mangakino to castor bay in 1958.
Later on they moved to milford where they lived till their deaths.
We have some Ohlson information about FJ Ohlson and His wife Janet as well.My mum was a frequent visitor to the house at 15 Kipling Avenue.
I am willing to share any info that's useful just let me know
