If someone could point in the right direction I would really appreciate it!!!! I am looking for the graves of my mom's brothers. Both died in the late 1930's. She's pretty sure they were buried in Glasnevin. One was only a day old and the other was 3 years old (Patrick and Michael Smith..... I know, I know...some of the most common names;-). I've checked the records and unfortunately I can't find graves for them so I was just wondering if there are any mass/paupers graves?? Not sure what happened to children who passed away this young in the 1930's. Pretty sure the 3 year old (Michael) was buried. Not sure about Patrick. They were from inchicore at the time. Parents were Patrick and katherine (sometimes Catherine) Smith (pelly).
Thank you!!!!!

for reference Patrick and Catherine were married in 1934 from Kehoe/Keogh Sq

At least you now have an exact date to work from for Patrick and he does not appear to be buried in Glasnevin nor Bluebell so you will have to try Mt Jerome contact details below

it would probably be better to ring Glasnevin to see did they allow infant burials in Goldenbridge.

Thank you so much!!! This was some great info!!! You guys are so great at this!! One more favor since you are so good at this😀.... my grandfather was Patrick A. Smith (middle name I believe was Augustus). He died approximately in 1959. My mom just remembers she was around 14 or 15 (she was born in 1945). I've been to Dublin to the registrars office(where you can get copies of the civil records) and I've found nothing. He was living at 248 clogher rd crumlin at the time of his death. If anyone could find anything that would be so wonderful!!!! Thank you so much again!!!!

I see Catherine 1985 aged 72 is he not in with her
-
I know:-(. It's weird that I can't find anything on his death. He is buried in a mass grave at mount jeromes I believe. Could you possible send me the link to my grandmothers? I will look but just in case I can't find it. Thank you!!!
-
And no he's not buried with her. She has a big beautiful headstone but she still had younger children when he passed so they couldn't afford to have anything for my grandfather.
-
Sorry its not a death cert i found for Catherine just the index from Glasnevin when entering Clogher Rd

I have been going through the death certs a lot the past few days and one disturbing feature i have come across is people who die in workhouses or institutions, some have no home address given.
eg Patrick Smyth died age 80 1957 Grangegorman Mental Hosp or Hospital for Incurables.
how is anyone supposed to know who he is unless they were there at the time.

This Is a little too old to be him but thank you!! He was born around 1895. He is in the 1911 census living on Meath street and listed as age 16. We have some other info on him just can't find that death record!!! Driving me nuts😜. I will definitely ask my mom to see if she knows exactly where he died. Maybe that can point me in the right direction. Thank you again!!!
-
And if not for the age I would think there was a possibility it was him. I can't read the cause of death but I do know my grandfather had tuberculosis. Not sure if that contributed to his death or not.

Yay!! I found death record.... finally. I had to look in Dublin north. I was just looking in Dublin. Thanks again for all your help!!!
