I am wanting to establish whether the following record is that of my 2nd great-grandfather:
Burials in the Parish of St Philip, Birmingham in the County of Warwick in the year 1845 Page 310 No 2474 - Thomas TURNER, Heneage Street, 25th May, 27 years, John DAVIES.
Does the Parish have any additional detail not shown in that record?

The death certificate (from GRO at £9.25) may have additional information. The informant and cause of death will certainly be shown.

There's nothing on the original PR that you don't already have so the death cert. is the way to go.
What are the names of his child(ren) as they may have Heneage St. as an address on their Baptisms.

Yes, BumbleB I will have to consider getting the death certificate on the off-chance that it is my great-grandfather.
Thanks Jim1, there are only 2 children (that I know of) - Frederick baptized in 1837 with family address Fox Street & Samuel born 1839 with mother's address Woodcock Street.

Only circumstantial but Heneage St. runs off Woodcock St.
