You would get much better results if you were able to save the scan as a jpg,
especially for printing the restores.

I struggled with the pixelation on it. A higher resolution scan would be good.

Thank you so much for your efforts every one. I can hear your frustrations, but unfortunately an elderly second cousin from Canada sent me the scanned copies, I am so grateful to her,to have some familt pics, I do not want to upset her by asking for better copies. I think Yvonne captured the essence of the photo, and it certainly looks a 100% better, and love the space above Sarah's head, thank you.
