Title: St Dunstan's church Somerton
Post by: WhittyAnge on Monday 19 September 16 15:45 BST (UK)
Hello
I am looking for a photo of the first St Dunstan's Roman Catholic church in Somerton.  It was of a wooden construction  - from 1927 until the current stone one was built in 1965.  Has anyone got a photo of it - perhaps in a wedding photo?
Thanks
Angela  :)

Why don't you write to St. Dunstan's and ask if they have any photos of the wooden church?  Their email address is:-

somerton.stdunstan@parish.cliftondiocese.com

The priest is the Rev. Jan Bak SDS

Hello
Thanks for your reply - but they have no photos of the former church.  Also there are no photos in any books in Somerton library.
thanks again
Angela

You never know, they may have some photos of the church when it was wooden or know where one can be obtained.

Hello again
Thanks for your suggestion - I think I did email them before - but no reply - I have just emailed them again.  I have also sent an email to the Somerton website.
thanks
