Does anyone have a copy of the Military Service Record of the person I have listed below.
Thomas Moore.
Service No: 1821.
Rank: Corporal.
Unit - Regiment: 75th Foot.
He died in Delhi, India on the 7th September 1857

as he died in service there wont be a service record for him , the records that exist are pension records all others were destroyed approx 20 yrs after leaving the service .

The roll for the Mutiny medal confirms his death. You can follow his service using the muster books. They are not online. You will have to visit Kew.
