Title: Siege Batteries
Post by: Peridot on Wednesday 14 September 16 10:08 BST (UK)
I am unable to get to Kew through a series of strokes - I wonder whether anyone can tell me the Allocations of HAG's and whether they saw action on the Somme Battlefield of Siege Batteries 115 -122 inclusive - would  be most grateful - Thanks

Have you tried 1914-1918.net?

Such as http://www.longlongtrail.co.uk/army/regiments-and-corps/the-royal-artillery-in-the-first-world-war/the-siege-batteries-of-the-royal-garrison-artillery/

Yes Ken - it does not give the HAG's or ORBAT's.

Just looking at 115 Bty. they were part of 65 Bde. RGA. Their war diary is online at TNA. £3.45.
It depends on how much you want to spend as you're looking for 8.
I'll have another scout around.
