Title: Cark in Cartmel, Mill Stream House
Post by: cristeen on Sunday 11 September 16 22:53 BST (UK)
I have an ancestor living here in 1911 and would love to find an image of it. I have images of the corn mill that he worked at but not the house. I am guessing it is further down Mill Stream Close than the old mill itself, there seem to be a couple of houses that could be it but not visible on Google maps.
I was hoping that someone local could do me a favour and help me figure out which one it is :)

Have you tried contacting someone who actually lives in the village? Perhaps a pub, The Engine Inn for example. You never know ;D

I just found a relative James Dickinson, Corn Miller at The Mill House in 1911 - are you related?
